Five households in five directories, 1915 to 1945, none of them listed twice, the first Mrs Agnes Mitton and the last C A Canet. In 1940 the name section gives this address for Nicholas Natzvly, a contractor (page 454; joined to the 1940 listing, where the first name or initials agree, inferred).

Who lived here
Read every ten years. The address
A permit to build a frame house was taken out in August 1909 by E Millar: builder S R Lawrence, $2,200; the 1935 directory lists the Miller name here. The address first appears in 1915, and the name changes with every directory: Mrs Agnes Mitton in 1915 and A Hobson in 1925. By 1935 the Hobson name has gone and Mrs M A Miller, rooms to let is listed, the name marked * (some member of the family owns the property, to the best of the directory's knowledge). N Natzvly follows the rooms to let in 1940. By 1945 the Natzvly name has gone and C A Canet, rooms to let is listed, the name marked *.
By 1955 the directory lists two households at the number, where C A Canet had been in 1945; their names, after 1945, we don't show.
The block around it
The Canet name moves along the block: at 2746 in 1940, then here in 1945 (the same family, or another with the same surname: inferred).
Since 1955
- 1982Today's building goes up, by the City's record.
- 1997–2024Licensed as an apartment house (licences on record start in 1997).
From City of Vancouver open data (Open Government Licence – Vancouver): the property tax report (BC Assessment's years, approximate for old buildings), business licences from 1997 (the kind of business only), issued building permits from 2017 and the heritage register.
Today
A newer building, dated 1982 by the City, has the address now: the building in these directories is gone, replaced after the 1955 directory, the last we read. Next door, 2746 still has its building from before 1946, the only one on the block.
