The house today
Goad's 1912 map draws no building on the lot at 1955, and the building the 1940 directory knew is gone too: the City dates the one there now to 1980; next door, 1961 still has its building from before 1946, the only one on the block. A permit to build a house was taken out in June 1928 by T Thompson, owner and builder: $3,500.
