What the directory left out

The 1940 directory printed “Orientals” at three doors in Kitsilano instead of the residents' names. Its canvassers often didn't take down Chinese, Japanese and other residents' names, so the people at those doors can't be named or counted from it. Each door is on its street's page, as printed.
