The house today

A newer building, dated 1982 by the City, has the address now: the wood-frame building Goad's 1912 map draws here is gone, replaced after the 1940 directory; no building from before 1946 is left on the 1600 block of Arbutus Street, and across the street the City dates 1665's to 1985. A permit to build a house was taken out in May 1926 by T V Scudamore: builder Day labour, $2,500.
