The 1940 name section, where each person's work is printed, lists James D McLennan at 710 West 13th Avenue, an accountant at the Exclusive Ambulance Service. The 1940 name section lists Vera McLennan at 1530 West 13th Avenue, a bookkeeper at T A Fee & Son. In 1940 the directory lists D McLennan at 2056 West 13th Avenue; the 1940 line is marked *: some member of the family owns the property, to the best of our knowledge (the directory's own mark). The 1940 name section lists Don McLennan there as the householder, a cannery manager at BC Packers, with John A McLennan, a student at UBC.
Today
1530 West 13th still has its building from before 1946, dated 1930 by the City's record; the City no longer lists 710 West 13th and 2056 West 13th, so those buildings are probably gone (inferred).
