Mrs S Ellis is listed at 1322 West Broadway in 1940. The 1940 name section lists Sadie Ellis there as the householder, widow of J, with Verneta Ellis, a stenographer at Canadian National Carbon. S W Ellis is listed at 2938 West Broadway in 1940. The 1940 name section lists Stewart W Ellis there as the householder, a conductor at the BC Electric Railway.

Today

The City no longer lists 1016 West Broadway, 1075 West Broadway, 1322 West Broadway and 2938 West Broadway, so those buildings are probably gone (inferred).
