In 1940 the directory lists G Cresswell at 535 East 29th Avenue; the 1940 line is marked * too. The 1940 name section lists George Cresswell there as the householder, a mechanic at Barr & Anderson.

In 1940 the directory lists C J Creswell at 2083 East 35th Avenue; the 1940 line is marked * too. The 1940 name section lists Cyril J Creswell there as the householder, a laborer at Canada West Cord, with William J Creswell. In 1940 the directory lists Mrs A Craswell at 933 McLean Drive. The 1940 name section lists Alice Craswell there as the householder, widow of D K.

933 McLean Drive, 1243 Thurlow, 3678 West 30th and 2097 West 6th still have their buildings from before 1946, 1243 Thurlow on the Vancouver Heritage Register; 3234 Coleridge (1979), 535 East 29th (1983), 2083 East 35th (1974), 5885 Sherbrooke (1981) and 3325 West 15th (1997) have newer buildings, by the City's record; the City no longer lists 123 Powell, 1797 West 13th, 2127 West 23rd and 2883 West Broadway, so those buildings are probably gone (inferred); for 1620 West 5th, its page says what we could and couldn't match to today's buildings.
