In 1940 the directory lists M D Buchanan at 3544 West 14th Avenue; the 1940 line is marked *: some member of the family owns the property, to the best of our knowledge (the directory's own mark). The 1940 name section lists Marshall D Buchanan there as the householder, a compositor at the Sun.

The City no longer lists 3029 West 14th and 3544 West 14th, so those buildings are probably gone (inferred).
