The building today

A newer building, dated 1985 by the City, has the address now: the wood-frame building Goad's 1912 map draws here is gone, replaced after the 1940 directory; no building from before 1946 is left on the 800 block of Burrard Street, and across the street the City dates 850's to 1983. A permit to build a store was taken out in October 1929 by Fordyce Motors Ltd: builder Dominion Construction Co, $35,000.
