The address

A permit to build a frame store and house (the register's number: “ or 733”) was taken out in November 1908 by Rogers & McKay: $3,000. (inferred) (the register's number for it is uncertain, but the lot it gives is this address's lot today) In 1915 it is listed as False Creek Grocery. In 1925 G Wiley is one of two listings at the number. In 1940 J Hukazawa is one of two listings at the number. By 1945 the Hukazawa name has gone and C H Creer, a grocer is listed.

Where the directory printed “Orientals”, its canvassers wrote a group label in place of the residents' names; we show what was printed, and the names it never recorded we can't give.
