The house today
A newer building, dated 1982 by the City, has the address now: the wood-frame building Goad's 1912 map draws here is gone, replaced after the 1940 directory; next door, 2920 still has its building from before 1946, one of four on the block. A permit to build a frame house at 2906–2910 Carolina was taken out in April 1910 by S Hovick, owner and builder: $4,000.
