Goad's 1912 map draws no building on the lot at 2756, and the building the 1940 directory knew is gone too: the City dates the one there now to 1989; directly across the street, 2757 still has one from before 1946, one of 13 on the block. A permit to build a house was taken out in May 1928 by Arthur Clegg: builder S D Buzzelle, $4,000; the 1940 directory lists the Clegg name here.
