The house today

2452 Balsam Street still has a building from before 1946, the only one left on the 2400 block of Balsam Street; Goad's 1912 map shows no building at the street end of the lot, so this one, which the City dates to 1925, went up after it. A permit to build a house was taken out in April 1923 by W W Thomson, owner and builder: $2,000.
