The building today

Goad's 1912 map draws no building on the lot at 1820, and the building the 1940 directory knew is gone too: the City dates the one there now to 1977; the nearest that still stands is 1835, on the heritage register, on the other side of the street, one of two on the block. A permit to build a house was taken out in November 1927 by H Rosenblat: builder Galloway & Son, architect Richard Thomas Perry, $50,000.

The ring marks 1820, placed from the City's address point today (inferred).
