The building today

A newer building, dated 1968 by the City, has the address now: the wood-frame building Goad's 1912 map draws here is gone, replaced after the 1940 directory; no building from before 1946 is left on the 1200 block of Barclay Street, and across the street the City dates 1231's to 1962. A permit to build miscellaneous was taken out in August 1927 by Mrs H K Dutcher: builder H P Leck, architect H J Dutcher & Southwell Ltd, $8,000.
