The building today
A newer building, dated 1989 by the City, has the address now: the wood-frame building Goad's 1912 map draws here is gone, replaced after the 1940 directory; no building from before 1946 is left on the 1200 block of Barclay Street, and across the street the City dates 1220's to 1987. A permit to build miscellaneous was taken out in March 1926 by J Stenhouse: builder Smith Bros & Wilson, architect Gardiner & Mercer, $55,000.
