The 1940 name section, where each person's work is printed, lists Robert C Harris there as the householder, a kiln man at Alberta Lumber, with E Margaret Harris, a bookkeeper, Helen M Harris, a stenographer at Alberta Lumber, and Robert J Harris, a helper at Alberta Lumber. In 1940 the directory lists H C Harris at 3624 East 22nd Avenue; the 1940 line is marked *: some member of the family owns the property, to the best of our knowledge (the directory's own mark). The 1940 name section lists Henry C Harris there as the householder, a machinist.

72 East 22nd still has its building from before 1946, dated 1910 by the City's record; 3624 East 22nd (1974) has a newer building, by the City's record.
