The building today
A newer building, dated 2003 by the City, has the address now: the wood-frame building Goad's 1912 map draws here is gone, replaced after the 1940 directory; next door, 962 still has its building from before 1946, the only one on the block. A permit to build a house was taken out in April 1921 by C Aron, owner and builder: architect H H Simmonds, $3,000.
