The house today

Goad's 1912 map draws no building on the lot at 5850, and the building the 1940 directory knew is gone too: the City dates the one there now to 2004; next door, 5860 still has its building from before 1946, one of six on the block. A permit to build a house was taken out in February 1929 by W Finlay: builder R Nightingale, $2,700.
