The building today
A newer building, dated 2006 by the City, has the address now: the brick building Goad's 1912 map draws here is gone, replaced after the 1940 directory; the nearest that still stands is 560, on the heritage register, four doors along on the same side, one of three left on the block. A permit to build a 7-storey brick building at 572, 574 and 576 Beatty was taken out in September 1909 by Robertson-Godson Company: builder Albert Adams, architect Parr & Fee, $35,000.
