The house today

Goad's 1912 map draws no building on the lot at 2887, and the building the 1940 directory knew is gone too: the City dates the one there now to 1961; next door, 2881 still has its building from before 1946, one of five on the block. A permit to build a house was taken out in May 1926 by R Westcott: builder Owners, $500; the 1940 directory lists the Westacott name here.
