The house today

2509 Adanac Street still has a building from before 1946, one of ten on the block; its permit dates from 1912 and the City's record from 1910, so it is very likely the wood-frame building Goad's 1912 map draws on the lot (inferred). A permit to build four houses (the register's number: “2505- or 2509-2513-2517”), this one among them, was taken out in July 1912 by H Round: builder F A Round, $2,000 for the four; the 1940 directory lists the Round name here. (inferred) (the register's number for it is uncertain, but the owner's name is one the directories list here)

Since 1940

  1. 1965A major renovation, by BC Assessment's record.
  2. 2022A building permit for a new building, valued at $143,300 (DB-2022-02653).
