The house today
1928 Charles Street still has a building from before 1946, as does 1933 across the street; its permit dates from 1910 and the City's record from 1912, so it is very likely the wood-frame building Goad's 1912 map draws on the lot (inferred). A permit to build a frame house was taken out in January 1910 by T Winship, owner and builder: $1,800.
