The building today
A newer building, dated 1986 by the City, has the address now: the wood-frame building Goad's 1912 map draws here is gone, replaced after the 1940 directory; the nearest that still stands is 1860, on the heritage register, on the other side of the street, the only one on the block. A permit to build miscellaneous was taken out in July 1927 by Moxam & Tod Ltd, owner and builder: architect Richard Thomas Perry, $50,000.
