The house today

1353 Barclay Street still has a building from before 1946, as does 1351 next door; its permit dates from 1904 and the City's record from 1904, so it is very likely the wood-frame building Goad's 1912 map draws on the lot (inferred). A permit to build a frame house (the register's number: “ or 1353”) was taken out in August 1904 by Thomas Hunter, owner and builder: $3,000. (inferred) (the register's number for it is uncertain, but the lot it gives is this address's lot today)
