The house today
A newer building, dated 1957 by the City, has the address now: the wood-frame building Goad's 1912 map draws here is gone, replaced after the 1940 directory; the 1300 block of Cardero Street keeps no building from before 1946; the nearest of its old addresses still on the City's list is 1306, with a building from 1957. A permit to build a frame house (the register's number: “ or 1315”) was taken out in March 1903 by Mrs Thompson: builder Mrs (issued to) Thompson, architect Parr & Fee, $5,500. (inferred) (the register's number for it is uncertain, but the lot it gives is this address's lot today)
