The house today

A newer building, dated 1952 by the City, has the address now: the wood-frame building Goad's 1912 map draws here is gone, replaced after the 1940 directory; next door, 1030 still has its building from before 1946, the only one on the block. A permit to build a 1 house (the register's number: “ or 1020”) was taken out in January 1912 by J W Prescott: builder W Tinney & Company, $2,500. (inferred) (the register's number for it is uncertain, but the lot it gives is this address's lot today)
